Where I Trained:

The degree focused on devising and learning about theatre for a variety of community groups such as schools, elderly care homes, disabled and an international placement in South Africa. Crafting different theatrical techniques such as Stand-up Comedy, Spoken Word Poetry, Site Specific, Theatre in Education, Forum Theatre, Verbatim and script writing. In addition, continuous vocal and movement training. I was also a Senior Resident in my third year at university, I lived back in halls assisting the first years into university life and helping with any pastoral needs.

I was an assistant facilitator, helping run sessions for the Start-Up Saturdays. Working with young people aged 11 to 14 across a ten-week term, the young people explore storytelling, devising theatre, movement, music and character. The final week of term is open to family and friends to see a sharing of the work. A shortened version of the program was creating running over six to twelve weeks throughout May - August 2020 via zoom which I also assisted on. In 2019, I started working with Two SEN Schools in London, Highshore School and Samuel Rhodes School. Delivering drama workshops and performances to young people with additional needs. In 2020 with the COVID- 19 Lockdown sessions where moved virtually via Zoom which I am also an assistant facilitator and worked alongside Touretteshero. As a Youth Trustee, I ensure that young people have a voice at the highest level of decision making at NYT and help inform the future strategic direction of the organisation.

(2019) - The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award - Expedition Supervisor Training Course (2017 – 2018) - MN Talent Academy – Screen Acting Course. Worked with Eliot Hankins, Ryan Laccohee and Thomas Newton on approach to screen acting, the industry and creating a showcase and short films.
